We always desired to have a homestead but never followed through due to life, land restrictions, life challenges, etc. We moved to South Dakota in January 2020 and shortly after, the world changed as we knew it. This prompted us to take action and luckily, we had property that would accommodate our plan. Inspired by homesteading channels on YouTube, we started a journey to self sufficiency. We began with baby chicks to raise for eggs and now have a 2 acre farm! So where did the name come from because we are not a large scale farm? In 2009, we adopted a 5 year old Olde English Bulldogge that forever changed our lives. His name was Yogi. He lived to the ripe old age of almost 15, leaving an indelible mark on our souls.
